I believe that everyone’s life contains at least a million words. That is a lot of words, and in fact unimaginable to some. This is another problem that I’ll probably write about some day. I can think of my own life and reflect upon how it is full of magnitudes, that no one else can possibly imagine all of no matter how well I know them.
These stories should be shared. Personally, I believe that everyone in the world should write 10,000 words about their life. Even that many must be the barest summary of only the largest events in one’s life. Each of these lives is unique, and each one has its ups and downs, making for an odyssey of epic proportions.
And there could be billions of these.
As humans, we have no way to imagine the entirety of others’ experiences. We can only assume that they must be having as grand a time as we are, or that they are having their own tales spun. Journalling allows most of us to realize this about ourselves, and is treasured by millions in their days.
I believe that anyone who wants to know themselves must also embrace the public-facing side. If we are the only ones who know our lives, we will surely fade into oblivion. As I’ve discussed, everyone has a life worthy of being noteworthy. My actions may feel inconsequential compared to the universe, but even I have made accomplishments.
I urge my reader to try to discover this path for themself, and write a bit about their life. Through this, you can learn more about yourself and allow the world to experience a small fragment of what life is for.
